2019 Ford Ranger Fuel Economy Figures
The 2019 Ford Ranger lineup will deliver differing fuel economy figures depending on the configuration. Models with 4×2 configurations have an EPA-estimated fuel rating of 21 miles per gallon in the city and 26 miles per gallon on the highway. Models with 4×4 configurations have an EPA-estimated fuel rating of 20 miles per gallon in the city and 24 miles per gallon on the highway. Both fuel economy ratings are class-leading figures in their respective midsize pickup truck segments.
Delivering the fuel-sipping capability is a standard 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine delivering 270 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque and paired to a ten-speed automatic transmission system. Depending on the configuration, the 2019 Ranger offers a max towing capacity of up to 7,500 pounds when properly equipped so drivers never need to choose between performance and fuel efficiency.
