The Acadia, one of the most popular SUVs in the GMC lineup, is set to arrive in style for the 2020 model year. SUV shoppers can expect to find fresh exterior design, increased technology, and a new engine option on the 2020 Acadia lineup when it’s released later this year.

2020 GMC Acadia Updates and Changes
New Engine Option
The 2020 Acadia offers a new 2.0L turbocharged engine, bringing the total engine options to three. The 2.0L engine is rated at 230 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque and balances power and efficiency with tripower valvetrain technology and an Active Fuel Management system. When premium power isn’t necessary, Active Fuel Management cuts off two cylinders to optimize on fuel usage.
Design Updates
While the bulk of the 2020 Acadia will be staying the same, a few updates to the interior console and exterior design help to give everything a fresh look and feel. Exterior changes include a new wheel design, LED turn signal indicators on the side mirrors, a fresh grille, new front and rear fascias, and updated C-shaped lighting. A brand-new Acadia AT4 configuration is also available and includes black chrome accents and other bold design features in addition to a more powerful engine and updated wheels suited to off-roading.
