While proper brake maintenance is important no matter your model, it’s perhaps most important for truck owners that often haul or tow heavy loads that can put a lot of stress on the brake system. To ensure that your GMC truck’s brakes are always up to the task, be sure to follow all routine maintenance schedules. In between appointments, you should also be keeping an eye out for any signs of brake trouble including grinding or squealing noises when braking, a shaking steering wheel, or a steering wheel that pulls to one side. If you do notice any of these warning signs, it’s time to head to your local GMC service center for a brake inspection.
