Come October, eastern Missouri has countless Halloween attractions pop up that could occupy every weekend night. Check out our list of the best haunted houses near St. Louis MO to whittle down the options.
Best Haunted Houses near St. Louis MO
While there are a ton of haunted attractions in eastern Missouri worthy of a visit, the three we listed here are what we think deserve to be at the top of your list.
The Darkness
The Darkness haunted house has been redesigned for 2017 and claims to be the scariest haunted house in America. Located in downtown St. Louis, The Darkness is a combination of six Halloween attractions including the Darkness Haunted House, Terror Visions 3D Haunted House, an outdoor scare zone, a monster-themed museum, zombie laser tag, and a 3-minute escape room. The Darkness is open Thursdays through Sundays until October 19th when it will be open nightly until Halloween.
CreepyWorld
Why go to one haunted house when you can go somewhere that includes 13 unique and terrifying Halloween attractions all in the same place. That’s right, Creepyworld in Fenton adds new attractions year after year and this year they are up to 13 scare-your-pants-off experiences. For the 2017 season, they have added two brand new attractions, the Trick R Treat Haunted Hayride and Quarantine World War Zombie. We recommend purchasing tickets in advance because lines at the box office can get quite long.
Phobius
Phobius is about an hour east of St. Louis in Wright City but trust us the journey is worth it. The Scare Factor voted Phobius the #1 Must-See haunted Attraction in Missouri for 2017. Visitors of the Phobius haunted house can expect a civil war theme and excellent production quality. If you only have time to check out one haunted house in Eastern Missouri this year, this is the one we would suggest.
