Six Features of the 2019 GMC Sierra MultiPro Tailgate System
Primary Gate
The primary gate opens like a traditional fold-down tailgate and can be lowered manually or with power through a button on the gate itself or a key fob.
Primary Gate Load Stop
When the primary gate is open, a small fold-out load stop can be lifted which helps prevent any items you are storing from sliding out the back of the truck.
Easy Access
The inner gate is the middle section of the primary gate. It can be folded down towards the ground to create more room for people to grab items in the back of the truck bed.
Full-Width Step
The inner gate can be lowered in a variety of ways including into a stair step that makes it easy to get in and out of the truck bed. The step has a weight rating of up to 375 pounds.
Inner Gate Load Stop
The inner gate can also be folded up vertically to help items stored higher in the truck bed from falling out.
Inner Gate with Work Surface
Lastly, the inner gate can be folded to create a flat work surface that can be used as a mobile desk or work surface for on the go projects.
